Shenyang speeds up building top equipment manufacture bases
Shenyang, capital of Northeast China' s Liaoning Province, is striving to develop into a world-class equipment manufacture base, according to Shenyang Evening News. <p>To accomplish the goal, the city will make up the industry's deficiency and expand its growth channels to set up a relatively complete equipment manufacture industrial system. </p><p>It is expected to make a breakthrough in the fields of wind power generation, agricultural machinery, and rail traffic equipment in 2008. </p><p>Shenyang will also reinforce the establishment of service system, by further completing socialization of basic industrial clusters and speeding up building of public testing, socialized logistics service and human resources training platform. </p><p>The city encourages its equipment manufacture enterprises to squeeze into the world's top rank in such fields as machine tool, transmission and transformer equipment, heavy mining equipment, and general equipment. </p><p>In addition, it will develop some 100 world-class products by stimulating technology development and relying on the innovation of the founded leading enterprises in 10 years. </p>
