Olympic culture to be reviewed in Shenyang

<h4>Source: CCTV.com</h4><h4>04-09-2008 09:16</h4><p>Hand in hand with the upcoming Beijing Olympics, the culture of the world's greatest sports event will be reviewed at an exhibition in northeast China's Shenyang, a co-host of this summer's Games. </p><p>The exhibition, granted by Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee, will unfold a panoramic view of previous Olympics by displaying Olympic medals, torches, posters, official mascots, souvenirs and wax figurines of athletes. A variety of methods will be used, including material, pictures, videos, and 4D technology. To take visitors down memory lane are clips of past Games, and the life stories of the people who helped develop the Games and spread the Olympic spirit. The exhibition will start from June 23rd and run for over three months. </p><p>There will also be some events associated with the exhibition, including a walking race,a fishing competition,ten thousand people running in a ten thousand-meter race, as well as bicycle racing. The aim is to connect the competitive Olympics with general sporting activities. </p>
