Liaoning to Host 12th Games

<font face="Verdana">Liaoning Province won the right to host the 12th Chinese National Games in 2013, it was announced here on Tuesday. </font><p><font face="Verdana">The State General Administration of Sports said that Liaoning defeated three other bidders of Tianjin, Zhejiang and Hubei in a vote by a total of 79 sports officials from across the country. </font></p><p><font face="Verdana">Liaoning is one of China's most important sports provinces and has produced 29 Olympic champions since 1984. Athletes from Liaoning Province won eight gold medals in last year's Beijing Olympics, more than any other provinces in China. </font></p><p><font face="Verdana">The 11th National Games will be held in east China's Shandong Province this October. </font></p>
