Shenyang to Build Olympic Sports Center

<>Shenyang is planning to build an Olympic sports center capable of holding large sports events including water sports games, reported Shenyang Daily yesterday.</P>
<>According to the plan, the bidding for the design of the Olympic sports center will be finished by the end of year. The Olympic sports center is expected to become a symbol of city construction of  Shenyang after completion of the project. It is also reported that the soccer games of 2008 olympic games will be held there. Beijing Olympic organisers have signed up an additional four cities including East China's Shanghai, North China's Tianjin and Qinhuangdao and Northeast China's Shenyang as official co-hosts of the 2008 Summer Games.</P>
<>Besides the sports center, Shenyang would launch a series of symbol construction projects in succession including opera house, music hall and convention centers to improve the city’s image. </P>
