Faku opens AOPA International Fly-in in August

Faku County in Shenyang City of the Liaoning Province will open its 5th AOPA(Aircraft Owner and Pilot Association) International Fly-in from Aug 26 - 28 at the Caihu Airport of Faku.

The Fly-in will further promote the Caihu air travel brands of Faku County and push the development of Shenyang's aviation industry and the related industries like sports, culture and travel.

Many internationally famous aerobatics teams will be invited to the event, including Paul Bennet Airshows from Australia, to perform formation flying and other exciting aerobatics with at least 12 jets.

The International Parachute Team will also perform a traditional Chinese fairy tale in the sky.

More than 50 aviation companies, home and abroad, will also join in the exhibition section. The static exhibition area covers 100,000 square meters and about 100 pieces of the flying devices will be displayed.

The event will include various activities like the ceremony of the first global navaid flight of China, flight experience and Faku County tour. In addition, the creative Aviation Music Carnival and Aviation Mass Wedding will also be held.

The event will be held jointly by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Shenyang and Faku governments, the CCPIT of Shenyang, the Shenyang Aviation Industry Office and the Sports Bureau of Shenyang Municipality.
