National Dragon Boat Tournament to Be Held in Shenyang

<>2006 National Dragon Boat tournament will be held in Shenyang from June 3 through July 2, announced China’s General Administration of Sports at a press conference held in Beijing on January 11. It will be the first time Shenyang has hosted the National Dragon Boat Tournament.</P>
<>The National dragon boat tournament 2006 , which is also called “Shenyang Dragon Boat Month”, will be held at Shenyang Wulihe park. Some 3000 participants from local governments, enterprises, schools and militaries will take part in the competition, together with 500 people from across the country including world champions. Meanwhile, representatives from across the world will gather in Shenyang too to celebrate the dragon boat gala.</P>
<>According to the press conference, a series of activities including beer fest, food festival, dragon crafts show, photo contest, Sport games, aerobic contest will be staged during the Dragon Boat Month.</P>
