Schaeffler, Shenyang Machine forge links

SHENYANG - Schaeffler Trading (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co Ltd formally signed a cooperation agreement during a recent ceremony in Shenyang, Liaoning province.
The agreement calls for Schaeffler to provide Shenyang Machine with a full range of products, technology and R&D support.
State-owned Shenyang Machine will offer Schaeffler greater market access and a priority in purchasing products, according to company announcements on the deal.
Gou Jianhui, managing director of Schaeffler Group China, said at the signing ceremony that the cooperation will be mutually beneficial, improving the competitiveness of Shenyang Machine while at the same time further strengthening the market dominance of Schaeffler Group.
China's largest machine tool manufacturer, Shenyang Machine also has the nation's largest R&D center for computerized machine tools. The products are widely sold in the domestic market and in more than 80 other countries and regions.
The Schaeffler Group's brands INA and LuK are well-known in the industry, while its FAG company is a leading provider of roller bearings and a renowned supplier of high-precision products and systems for engines, transmissions and chassis applications in the automotive industry.
