Beishichang Market tobe rebuilt

Shenyang plans  to overhaul  traditional  
    Beishichang Market  to  a  business  
    street:  its overground buildings will be expanded  and  rebuilt, while  a L-shaped underground business  street will be dug. The 2.8 billion yuan project covers 57,000  squaremetres. Part of  the project  currently  is  finished and  the  it  is expected  to complete  in 2015.  
       A  design  team with Tsing University, which has  a  famous masterpiece  in Chengdu of Sichuan Province,  is commissioned on  the project  to  reflect Beishichang Market's culture and  tradition  and  to  create  a  business  core area.  
       The business  street  is planned  to  inherit Beishichang's  characteristic  culture,  tracking hundreds of  years history of Huangsi Road, where  the market  is  located.  
       The design will maintain  the  structure of the  site  at  its glorious period, naming nearby alleys with  some auspicious Chinese phrases.
