PwC opens Northeast China branch

PricewaterCoopers (PwC) China announced plans to open a new office in the city of Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province, on Dec 8, a move that clearly indicates its goal of expanding its business operations in Northeast China.

It had a co-operation framework agreement signing with the municipal finance office to solidify the deal in all respects, such as further reforming State-owned companies and encouraging local private enterprises to cooperate with international companies for resource sharing and mutual development.

PwC is a service provider with clients among at least 400 of the Fortune 500 and total global revenues worth $34 billion, for fiscal year 2014. Its Shenyang office is expected to provide a range of services, not only financial audits, internal controls, IPO audits, and other assurance, but also tax consulting, risk management, M&A and strategic consulting.

Shenyang has 118 branch finance offices and has become the financial center of Northeast China, with economic and trade relation with 188 countries, and 87 Fortune 500 company offices, including GM, BMW and Michelin.
