Shenyang to host Anime Expo

Shengyang will host the 7th China Anime Expo and the 1st Creative Entrepreneurship Competition in Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Center from August 7 to 11.

As the largest and most popular event of the animation industry in Northwest China, China Anime Expo has been successfully held for six years since 2009, attracting a total of 1,500 domestic and foreign exhibitors as well as more than 500, 000 visitors. Inspired by "Public Innovation and Entrepreneurship", the 1st Creative Entrepreneurship Competition will be hosted this year.

With the theme "creative design and achieving dreams ", the 1st Creative Entrepreneurship Competition will open for teams with creative projects in animation design, VI design, cartoon image design, and graphic design. The competion will also organize discussions with industry experts, mentors, investors, road shows, and seminars. Winning entries will be exhibited in Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Hall for four days.

This completion will be co-hosted by Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Animation Committee of China Artists Association, Liaoning Cultural Bureau, Shenyang Municipal Government and Shenbei New Area People's government.
