Shenyang Shengjing Bank Officially Kicks Off

<p>The grand founding ceremony of the first nationwide headquartered bank in the NE, Shengjing Bank, was held at Shengjing Bank Building in Shenyang on Mar. 1, which was attended by Mr. Li Keqiang, secretary of Liaoning Provincial Chinese Communist Party Committee (CCPC), Mr. Zhang Wenyue, Governor, Mr. Chen Zhenggao, mayor of Shenyang Government and other senior officials. </p><p>This bank is transformed from the previous Shenyang Commercial Bank, which, incorporated in 1998, was a joint-stock commercial bank having full banking functions and offering a variety of products with its asset continually growing after several years of healthy and fast development. </p><p>Approved on Feb.17 by China Banking Regulatory Commission, the Shenyang Commercial Bank officially made its name changed as “Shengjing Bank”and was given the permission to incorporate its first branch in Tienjin.</p>
