Mitsubishi Motors to raise Shenyang plant's production capacity

The company plans to export 40 per cent of its 1.3 L and 1.6 L engines to Japan and Europe. </p><p>* Mitsubishi Motors said that China's demand for 1.0 L and 1.6 L engines would double its output to 5.46 million sets by 2010. </p><p>* Mitsubishi Motors starts to produce engine in Shenyang, China, in 2000, and 70 per cent are sold to China's BYD, Geely and other Chinese auto producers. </p>
