50 Yuan Punishment for Smoking in Public Areas

<p>From today on, those who disregard the advice of non-smoking in public areas in Shenyang will be punished 50 yuan. More than one thousand inspectors&nbsp;will&nbsp;be on duty before June and they will do inspection and examination in the smoking ban areas. </p><p>The announcement of non-smoking in public areas by Shenyang Municipal People's Government is implemented May, 23, 2008, 77 days before Beijing Olympic Games. This announcement defines that it is not allowed for Shenyang citizens to smoke in appointed Olympic Game public areas and other public areas. </p>
