Shenyang Starts Evaluation of Old Trade Names

<p>Shenyang city is now starting the evaluation of the first batch of “Shenyang Old Trade Names” this year. The major condition of being one of them is that the enterprise or the shop must be founded before 1956. <br/><br/>Most of the old trade names enterprises of Shenyang are founded half a century ago and are distributed in many business trades, like retail, repast, medicine, food handling, photograph and wine making, etc. According to the record of thehistorical data that more than 600 restaurants were registered in 1936 in Shenyang, and it is not hard for people to find that the catering industry of Shenyang owns a long historical standing. <br/><br/>However, some of these old trade names are not exited nowadays because of social change or market competition. Only those competitive ones persist until today. Therefore, the Shenyang Commercial Bureau decides to evaluate those old trade names in Shenyang in order to protect the sole ones.&nbsp; <br/><br/>According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 50 enterprises which are over 50 years old in Shenyang. Among them, Laobian dumpling, Ganlu dumpling and Cui Hua Lou Jewelry Store are popular-known to the majorities. Until now, five enterprises have been evaluated as “Shenyang Old Trade Names”, and another 11 enterprises are reporting and waiting for the&nbsp;evaluation. <br/></p>
