On October 10, Shenyang's officials approved the launch of the BMW taxi, with the first batch of ten BMWs soon to be running. The sedans value at 300 to 400 thousand RMB each.

<>Currently, Shenyang has about 17,000 cabs, most of which are the Jetta and Cherry make. Luxurious cabs are much more common in bigger Chinese cities like Beijing and Shanghai.</P>
