Li Yingjie Appointed As Acting Mayor of Shenyang

Li Yingjie, former secretary of the CPC Anshan Municipal Committee, was appointed as acting mayor and vice mayor of Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning Province, on December 31, 2005.

Li was appointed by the standing committee of the Shenyang Municipal People’s Congress to replace Chen Zhenggao who resigned from the post of mayor and was newly appointed as secretary of CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee.
