Shenyang Wuai Tunnel Goes into Operation

<p>Shenyang Wuai Tunnel which connects the south bank with the north bank of Hunhe River went into operation today. This tunnel adds a new North-South express way to Shenyang and consequently, from now on, circumvention is no longer needed. Moreover, Wuai Tunnel also has significant meaning for the development of Shenyang economy as it will link Hunnan and central area of the city, so as to enhance the economic power in the South of Shenyang.</p><p>The south end of the tunnel leads to the Olympic Sports Center, and this will make the economic zone in Hunnan District more active.</p><p>Furthermore, Shenyang will focus on the construction of Xinlibao Bridge and Nanyanghu Bridge in the second half of the year. These two bridges will also become express ways connecting the North with the South of Shenyang.</p>
